Alberto Fernández reconoció que tanto la renegociación de la deuda como el ajuste del déficit fiscal habían pasado a "otro plano.

Argentina decidió aplazar hasta 2021 los pagos previstos para este año de la deuda pública en dólares, en el marco de las medidas adoptadas para contener los efectos de la pandemia en la economía del país sudamericano.

Así, mediante un decreto especial, Argentina se autoexime de cumplir con los pagos de deuda hasta el 31 de diciembre, o en una fecha anterior si así lo determina el Ministerio de Economía.

Están exentos de estos impagos valores públicos como las Letras del Tesoro, informa la agencia Télam.

Cambio de prioridades en Argentina

Alberto Fernández reconoció el domingo en una entrevista, que tanto la renegociación de la deuda como el ajuste del déficit fiscal habían pasado a "otro plano", tanto en Argentina como en otras partes del mundo, ya que "la prioridad fue la salud". "No sé si cambié yo las prioridades; el mundo cambió sus prioridades", resaltó.

El Ministerio de Salud argentino confirmó el domingo 103 nuevos contagios de coronavirus, lo que eleva a 1.554 el balance provisional de enfermos.

Además, informó de cuatro nuevas muertes, hasta un total de 48 desde que comenzó la pandemia de Covid-19.
